HOW TO: Using Library OneSearch (Ebsco Discovery Service)

Looking for specific sources for a research project, or to reserve or request library materials? Here's how to get started searching and saving your resources in Library OneSearch.

Renew library materials

Your library book is due tomorrow and you need to renew it.

You can do that online by logging into your library account through Library OneSearch!

To access your library account, navigate to the Library OneSearch main search page. There will be a link (e.g., "Welcome Guest" or "Sign In") at the top of the page prompting you to sign into Library OneSearch to access your library account. Click on the link.

After clicking the link, a new webpage will prompt you to log into Library OneSearch with your NetID and password. After logging in, you will be redirected back to Library OneSearch.

On the right side of the Library OneSearch taskbar, you will see the Folder icon where any and all library items (e.g., holds, checkouts, saved searches, etc.) are maintained. Click the Folder icon to access your personal listing of library resources.

The Loans link will appear in the list on the left side of the Folder page. Clicking on Loans will generate a listing of the materials checked out to your account. Each item will have the due date listed as part of the item record.

To renew a particular title, click on the "Renew" link on item record, and follow the prompts provided to complete the renewal process.
