Finding books and e-books in Library OneSearch

Depending on what type of book you're looking for (either print books or ebooks), you can engage with Library OneSearch in a few different ways to find what you need.

Title Search for a Print Book

In Library OneSearch, enter the title you are looking for in the search bar. For example, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

To narrow down the results to show only books, click on “print books” on the left sidebar (note: the search results page will automatically update whenever a new limiter/filter is selected).

Note: Library OneSearch will keep the filter(s) you’ve chosen from search to search. You can review the active filters at the left side bar under the heading Refine Results. To remove an active filter, click the x next to the filter you want to remove from your search.

Users can download a limited access copy of the ebook to their device. You will need to log into ESBSCO with your institutional ID in order to do this (note: If you are off campus you may need to log-in with your NETID to access this remotely).

After logging into EBSCO with your institutional ID, you will be prompted to select your download options depending on the device you will use to access the ebook, as well as the duration of the loan. Make your selections and click "Full Download." A copy of the ebook will be downloaded to your device (note: this is not a permanent download; the ebook will be automatically removed from your device at the end of the loan period).
