The OU Libraries’ Sustainability Committee seeks to align the day-to-day operations and culture of the library with both the “Reimagining OU” values and the ALA Resolution on the Importance of Sustainable Libraries. To those ends, the committee will serve to identify and recommend strategic and innovative practices for the library environment, employees, and users that promote environmental stewardship and the reduction of waste; educate our community on sustainability; and collaborate with other groups or organizations.
