Library Subscriptions

Several of the libraries' databases have apps that you can download to your mobile devices. Here are some that you may find helpful for accessing drug information.

IBM Micromedex Access the same, evidence-based Micromedex content you rely on every day directly from your mobile device(s). All apps contain the industry's most comprehensive drug information and are backed by the same thorough, unbiased editorial process used for all Micromedex solutions.
Available for Android and iOS and mobile web. Cost: Free for OU Users.

 

UptoDate mobile web and app links. The UpToDate system is an evidence-based clinical resource. It includes a collection of medical and patient information, access to Lexicomp drug monographs and drug-to-drug interactions, and a number of medical calculators. Register for your free account here: Register for UpToDate Account. (You will be directed there after entering your OU account and password) Click Log in / Register
If you have an account, enter your OU username and password. This will confirm your association with OU and allow you to continue using the app. If you do not have an UpToDate account, fill out the fields to register for one. You will use this username and password to get into the app.

Other Apps

Epocrates is a free app that includes drug information, an interaction check, pill ID and clinical guidelines. Users can upgrade to a paid subscription for additional features.
