Report a Problem

Having trouble accessing a database, article, or e-book?

Here are some basic troubleshooting tips:

  • Switch Browsers: Some resources work better in certain browsers like Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. If something isn’t loading properly, try a different one.

  • Clear Cookies & Cache: Your browser stores data that can sometimes interfere with logins or links. Clearing your cookies and cache, then restarting the browser, often helps.

  • Use the Library Website: Access resources directly from the OU Libraries website rather than saved or shared links to ensure proper authentication.  Using shared or saved links can sometimes lead to access errors.

  • Check for Known Issues: Visit our Library Systems Status blog to see if there are any ongoing problems affecting access.
