Information Mastery instruction is strategically placed within the medical curriculum to develop students’ information skills for self-directed, lifelong learning and to enhance students’ learning outcomes in courses. Medical Library faculty are active in curriculum development, design and teach sessions, and/or integrate information mastery concepts into coursework and assignments/activities at the point of need. Please contact any of the medical library faculty members for individualized or small group instructional sessions or tutorials.
The majority of the required and recommended course textbooks are available online. In addition, the Medical Library keeps multiple print copies of all required and recommended course textbooks in the Medical Library Study Room (KL 102). These print books are reference copies, for in-library use only.
Each of M1 courses has a corresponding Course Guide on the Medical Library web site to serve as a one-stop shop for resources related to individual courses. -
