The Medical Library offers a collection of print books.
The textbooks and USMLE test prep book located in the Quiet Study Room are for in house use only.
The books on the third floor of Kresge Library can be checked for 8 weeks, and can be renewed unlimited times unless there is a hold on the item.

If you couldn't find the book you need at the Medical Library and the Kresge Library, you may try the options below and request the book through MelCat or InterLibrary Loan.
For any books, book chapter, or journal articles that are not immediately available through the library, you may request it using InterLibrary Loan (ILL) service. ILL service is free to OUWB students and faculty. The turn around time for electronic journal articles is usually within a couple of days.
You may use the Interlibrary Loan Service (ILLiad) to request items (journal article, books, book chapter, etc.) from another library. For any first-time users, please register for ILLiad first.

OUWB students and faculty are also welcome to drop by the Medical Library Office for assistance during the business hours. We are located on the First Floor of Kresge Library, KL130. Our hours are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Information Mastery instruction is strategically placed within the medical curriculum to develop students’ information skills for self-directed, lifelong learning and to enhance students’ learning outcomes in courses. Medical Library faculty are active in curriculum development, design and teach sessions, and/or integrate information mastery concepts into coursework and assignments/activities at the point of need.
