    • How should we evaluate the information we encounter? (text-based lesson, ~10 minutes to complete)
    • What makes information valuable in different contexts? (6:24 video)
  4. Making Connections and Expanding Your Research, which helps us identify:
    • What connections exist across information sources? (text-based lesson, ~10 minutes to complete)
    • How do we make connections and expand our research? (4:10 video)

Getting Your Grade for the Online Library Instruction

When you complete the online library instruction for WRT 1060, you will earn a grade when you complete the learning assessment.

OU Libraries WRT 1060 online library instruction credential of completionThe learning assessment is only available when you have completed all parts of the online library instruction.

This assessment is out of 25 points -- if you earn at least an 80% (20 of 25 points), you will receive a badge that indicates you've successfully completed the content.

You should share this badge with your professor by providing them with the unique URL for your badge (not just the image of the badge!).

You will receive a link to this badge in an email once you score at least 80% on the assessment; you can also use these instructions from eLIS to locate your badge so you can share the link with your professor.

What if I Need to Share a Grade with My Professor?

If your instructor has asked you to share a specific grade or score with them, you can get that information from the learning assessment:

  1. Click on the learning assessment (once you've taken it!)
  2. Take a screenshot of your quiz score(s), like this image (also displayed below)
  3. Then, submit this screenshot along with the unique URL for your badge
