Citing & Writing in Education: APA Style

Education researchers use the American Psychological Association (APA) Style to cite their sources, or give credit, to the people and ideas that influence their work. APA Style also provides a guide for how researchers can structure / format their papers, and scholars in education use this approach to present their ideas and information in clear and consistent ways across their discipline.

The Libraries have a number of resources and guides to using APA Style that you can consult as you use this formatting and citation approach in your own work:

You may also want to consult the APA Style Blog when you need to cite something that's a bit out of the ordinary -- you'll find excellent and clear guidance!
