Publication Impact - Measuring and Evaluating Your Scholarly Output: Research Impact Analysis

Research Impact Analysis

If you're looking to have your Research Impact analyzed and put into a report, the Medical Library has you covered. The procedure is simple:

  1. Send us your most current CV, or a list of all of your published work.
  2. Determine which type of report suits your needs bests, details of which can be found at the table to the right:
    1. Brief Report 
    2. Extended Report 
  3. Give us a time frame for when you need the report. Extended reports will take longer than brief. Please allow up to two weeks for a Brief Report and three weeks for an Extended Report.

Report Options

Report Type Description Example
Brief Report

Report using Scopus and Journal Citation Reports to find:

  • author h index
  • list of publications including ones found on author CV and Scopus
  • Journal Impact Factor using Journal Citation Reports for highest cited articles

  • author h index
  • list of publications including ones found on author CV and Scopus
  • Journal Impact Factor using Journal Citation Reports for highest cited articles
  • Further analysis of impact factor and article citation using Web of Science and Google Scholar 
  • Geographic map of where you've been cited
