This online exhibition from the National Library of Medicine, Office of Research on Women's Health, and AMWA honors the lives and achievements of women in medicine. The website reviews the history of women in medicine in the US including individual stories of famous women physicians and also has videos, activities, and more.
Established in 1915, AMWA is the national organization dedicated to advancing women in the medical field and addressing women's health. Professionals, residents, and medical students are all encouraged to participate.
