Searching the Embase Database

Go to the Embase Database - https://huaryu.kl.oakland.edu/login?url=https://www.embase.com
You can do a quick Embase search using the search box on the first screen:

 

Or you can do a more extensive search and limit your results on the next page.  The limits are in the left column and there are more search features along the top navigation.

Embase uses the Emtree controlled vocabulary.  Access it by clicking on Mapping at the top left portion of the web page.

 

Searching the PsycINFO Database

Searching the Scopus Database

You can do a quick Scopus search using the search box on the first screen.  Scopus does not use indexing terms, so you need to rely on using synonyms and variants of your search terms.

Searching the Web of Science Database

Go to the Web of Science Database -

You can do a quick Web of Science search using the search box on the first screen.  Web of Science does not use indexing terms, so you need to rely on using synonyms and variants of your search terms.
